Ben Armstrong was introduced to crypto in 2012, when he invested in Bitcoin and other early cryptocurrencies.

An early enthusiast, Ben followed the early crypto industry through forums and social media, learning everything he could about this new currency and investing culture.

In 2018, Ben Armstrong founded BitBoy Crypto, a platform dedicated to educating people about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. 

He started with a YouTube channel where he shared insights, news, and analysis on various cryptocurrencies and blockchain projects.

Ben’s audience under BitBoy Crypto grew quickly, achieving millions of followers across YouTube, Twitter, and other channels, largely thanks to his accurate industry predictions and in-depth coin analysis.

As Ben’s popularity grew, he hired a team to scale his solo education brand into a full company with 80 team members at its peak.

Ben published Catching Up To Crypto: Your Guide to Bitcoin and the New Digital Economy with Wiley in 2023.

Now with over a decade invested in Bitcoin, Ben leaned on his experience to tell the history of crypto and distill blockchain tech for a lay audience. The book was a success, earning 4.9 stars on Amazon.

The CEO of Hit Network, TJ Shedd, stole millions of dollars in crypto & real estate from BitBoy. TJ enlisted the help of Tim Shedd, Alli Bevan, Justin Williams, Bryan Emory, Bo Mason of Blueprint homes, Carlos Diaz, Allison Fiveash, Frank Parisi, & others.

Ben lost everything & had to start over with nothing. He is still in heated legal action with TJ, Hit Network, & all entities contained.

Through all the hardship of 2023, Ben never lost his passion for teaching others about crypto. In 2024, he launched a new YouTube channel and brand, quickly regaining many of his original followers.

He is now joined by co-hosts JChains & Cassie Wolfe on the new BitBoy Morning Show.
